Knitted fabric: it is formed by knitting needles to form yarns or filaments into loops, and then stitches the loops with each other.
Woven fabric: It is a fabric formed by interweaving warp yarns and weft yarns vertically.
The difference between knitted fabric and woven fabric

Difference one: the structure of the fabric
Knitted fabrics produced in my country are generally made of yarns bent into loops in sequence, and the loops are interwoven to form a fabric. The yarn forming process can be carried out horizontally or longitudinally. The horizontal knitting is called weft knitting, and the longitudinal knitting is called warp knitting. In contrast, woven fabrics are made up of two or more sets of mutually perpendicular yarns interlaced at a 90-degree angle for warp and weft, and the longitudinal yarn is called warp yarn and the transverse yarn is called weft yarn.
Difference 2: The basic unit of fabric organization
Generally speaking, the smallest unit of knitted fabric is the loop, and the loop is composed of the loop and the extension line in a spatial curve. On the contrary, the small unit of woven fabric is the organization point, that is, each intersection point between the warp yarn and the weft yarn.
Difference three: physical mechanical
Generally speaking, the physical and mechanical properties of knitted fabrics are very good, including vertical density, horizontal density, square meter weight, elongation, elasticity, breaking strength, wear resistance, hemming, thickness, disengagement, Shrinkage, coverage, volume density. On the contrary, the physical and mechanical properties of woven fabrics only include the yarn density of the warp and weft yarns, the edge of the fabric, the front and back sides, the direction of the hair direction, and the fabric coverage.
Difference four: characteristics
Warp-knitted fabrics have the characteristics of soft texture, moisture absorption, breathability, perspiration and warmth, and most of them have excellent elasticity and extensibility. Relatively speaking, the woven fabric has the characteristics of high output and suitable for small batch production.
